Who’s Hiring - Top employers week of 7-6-10 - Page 3


Job Openings Added This Week:

The business service, health care, hospitality, retail, defense, telecommunications, and banking verticals are the top industries with new job postings this week based on a survey of the nations’ leading job advertisements added during the past seven days.


Business service led new hiring advertisements this week as IBM, Deloitte and Booz Allen were included in the top job advertisers this week. Health care is still searching for new employees as Walgreen’s Take Care Health Systems, HCR Manorcare, UnitedHealth, Amedisys Home Health, Bayada Nurses, Genesis HealthCare, Aurora Healthcare and Quest Diagnostics added positions this week.

Hospitality was next as Pizza Hut, Marriott, Friendly’s and Hilton were looking for employees. Retail continued staffing this week as Macy's, Sears, Lowe’s, JoS. A. Bank and Kmart were staffing.

Defense companies made the list as US Air Force Reserve, General Dynamics and US Army were advertising for employees this week. Telecommunications companies were also hiring as T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon were in the top firms adding advertisements for new hires this week.

Banking rounded out the list of top companies adding new hiring advertisements, featuring JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, PNC and Citi.
