Total Job Openings:
Business Service firms led hiring companies as IBM, Deloitte and Booz Allen were actively staffing. Hospitality was next as Pizza Hut, Marriott, Cracker Barrel and Boston Market continued heavy job advertisements.
Retail continues hiring growth - Blockbuster, Kmart andt Sears, and were all top 10 hiring firms, while Lowe’s, Macy’s, JCPenney Pilot and Bloomingdale’s were also in the top hiring firms. Telecommunications firms remain top hiring companies with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon still staffing actively.
Health care continues in a a strong recruiting mode as HCR ManorCare, UnitedHealth, Genesis Healthcare, DaVita, Kaiser Permanente, Quest Diagnostic and Kindred Healthcare were top job advertisers.
