Job Openings Added This Week - 8/16/10:

The hospitality, business service, telecommunications, retail, banking, and health care verticals are the top industries with new job postings this week based on a survey of the nation’s leading job advertisements added during the past seven days for the week of 8/16/10.


Hospitality led new hiring advertisements this week as Pizza Hut, Long John Silvers, Marriott and Hilton all added new postings this week. Business service also added as IBM, Booz Allen, Deloitte and CSC were included in the top job advertisers this week.

Telecommunications was also hiring as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile were in the top firms adding advertisements for new hires this week. Retail continued staffing this week as JCPenny, Sears, Kmart, Blockbuster, Radio Shack, Border’s, Macy's, Lowe’s and Toys “R” Us were staffing.

Banking companies were next as Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Citi were in the top new advertisements this week. Health care rounded out the list of top companies adding new hiring advertisements as Kaiser Permanente, HCR ManorCare, UnitedHealth, Genesis Healthcare and Aurora Healthcare advertised for staff this week.
