Who’s Hiring - Top employers week of 8-9-10 - Page 3


Job Openings Added This Week - 8/9/10:

The telecommunications, hospitality, retail, banking, business service, and health care verticals are the top industries with new job postings this week based on a survey of the nation’s leading job advertisements added during the past seven days for the week of 8/9/10.


Telecommunications led new hiring advertisements this week as AT&T and Verizon were both in the top ten firms adding advertisements for new hires this week, followed closely by T-Mobile. Hospitality also added as Pizza Hut, Friendly’s and Hilton all added new postings this week.

Retail continued staffing this week as Macy's, Kmart, Sears, Lowe’s, Officemax, Flying J, Toys “R” Us, and Carquest Auto Parts were staffing. Banking companies were next as Citi, Bank of America and Wells Fargo were in the top 10, joined by JPMorgan Chase in the top new advertisements this week.

Business service was also hiring as IBM and Booz Allen were included in the top job advertisers this week. Health care rounded out the list of top companies adding new hiring advertisements as Amedisys, Kaiser Permanente, HCR ManorCare, Community Health Systems, University Hospitals, UnitedHealth, Genesis Healthcare, Labcorp and Bayada Nurses advertised for staff this week.
